Twenty Ten Theme Allows Page Specific Headers

I read about a feature for the twenty ten theme today that I didn’t realize it had!  It’s pretty cool. You can change the header image in twenty ten with each page and each post simply by uploading a properly sized image and setting it as the featured image for the post. Setting the featured image is very simple as well (lower right portion of the edit-post screen).

The lake sunrise image here is an example of how this works. I continue to be impressed with wordpress 3.0 and the simple elegance that WP has finally attained.

Just another reason why WP going to be the platform of choice going forward.
